SouthGent 321 is a 51 year old divorced male born and raised in the South's 'Biblebelt', later moving to Chicago's North side. I have 4 wonderful kids, 2 girls and two boys, 3 of which are hearing impaired. I love the southern lifestyle with its temperate climate and laid back attitude. I love the outdoors, fishing, gardening and exploring new places.
I was happily married for 23 years, but for the past 7 years, since the breakdown of that marriage, life has been somewhat of a turmoil. I am struggling with my inner self, trying to find peace with it all, somehow, hence, the creation of this blog.
